Switching to electric vehicles isn’t just about reducing emissions. It’s about changing habits.
As part of Heineken’s commitment to decarbonising production by 2030, this internal campaign video encouraged employees to see electric vehicles as a practical, everyday choice through the company car scheme. By tackling common misconceptions and connecting the initiative to Heineken’s wider sustainability ambitions, the video helped make the move to EVs feel more accessible, relevant and achievable.
The goal was simple: increase uptake of electric vehicles and encourage more employees to get on board.
Heineken wanted to encourage more employees to choose electric vehicles through its company car scheme.
The challenge was to overcome common concerns around battery range, performance and practicality, while showing how individual choices contribute to the company’s wider decarbonisation goals. The video needed to feel engaging and relatable, moving away from traditional corporate messaging to create something that would genuinely shift perceptions and encourage action.
Changing behaviour starts with changing perceptions.
Working closely with Heineken, we developed a concept that tackled common questions about electric vehicles in a straightforward, conversational way. By balancing the bigger sustainability message with the practical considerations employees cared about most, we created a narrative that felt informative without feeling preachy.
From pre-production through to the final edit, every element was designed to make the transition to electric vehicles feel simple, relevant and worthwhile. The result is an engaging internal video that supports Heineken’s sustainability ambitions while giving employees the confidence to make the switch.
